My interests range from economics to history to modern-day politics. The uniting thread is my urge to quantify, analyze, and visualize.
I am an avid consumer and reporter of news, from local to national. Usually knee-deep in political Twitter, I remain informed about the world around me and I strive to share that information, too.
I seek to apply my skills in quantitative methods to my interests. When reporting and managing my newspaper, this translates into a focus on data visualization; when working for political campaigns, I bring data and statistics to strategy meetings.
If I'm not knocking on doors, behind my computer, or scrolling through Twitter, you can probably find me on the baseball field, cooking, or spending time with family and friends.
